Accessing the Workcell Configuration Page
To access the Workcell Configuration Page, you must have the Store Admin role. Once logged in with this role, you will be able to navigate to the Workcell Configuration Page.
To navigate to the Workcell Configuration Page:
- Navigate to the Store Manager Dashboard.
On the left sidebar of the dashboard page, click “Workcell Configuration” under the Configuration heading (indicated as icon A in the screenshot below).
Workcell Configuration Page
The Workcell Configuration Page displays all the current workcells in a store, providing key information such as name, color of workcell, type, timeblock, play, employee count, go see threshold, and delayed threshold. These thresholds determine when your workcell’s hourly vehicle metrics change to yellow or red. Store Managers can create, edit, and delete workcells from this page.
Creating a New Workcell
Store Managers can create new workcells in their store by following these steps:
- Click the three-dot action menu at the top of the page.
- Select the “Create Workcell” option from the workcell action menu to access the create new workcell form.
- Select a name for the workcell.
- Click “Create” to finalize and add the new workcell.
Editing Workcell Name
Store Managers can edit existing workcells names in their store by following these steps:
- Select the workcell you want to edit by clicking the pencil icon in the top right corner of the workcell card.
- To change the name of the workcell, click the dropdown menu on the workcell name
- Choose a name selection from the dropdown menu.
- To finalize your workcell name, click the pencil icon in the top right corner.
Setting Plays per Timeblock
Store Managers can select plays per timeblock for a given workcell in their store by following these steps:
- Select the workcell you want to edit by clicking the pencil icon in the top right corner of the workcell card.
- To change the play for a given timeblock within a workcell, click the dropdown menu on the play name.
- Select the play to run for the given timeblock from the dropdown list. If you select “Custom,” be sure to fill in the “Go See,” “Delay,” and “Number of Employees” fields by clicking in the box and typing the number.
- To finalize your workcell plays, click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the workcell card.
